In Saudi Arabia, the skill qualification test requirement for expatriate workers has been added to more posts. New visa applicants for 174 types of occupations are primarily required to pass the eligibility test from their home country.
Eligibility test is made mandatory for categories like Agricultural Mechanic, Auto Mechanic, Blacksmith, Builder, Bus Mechanic, Barber, Car Driver, Car Electrician, Carpenter, Chef, Mason, Craftsman, Crusher Operator etc.
Arrangements are being made in the respective countries for the examination centers for the candidates who have to attend. However, facilities are available for the visa holders who are working as house drivers and laborers to prove their eligibility by participating in the examination in Saudi itself.
