News eventAlUla Province's Summer Fruit Season began on Wednesday, with a range of the best local products available at the farmers' market in Al-Manshiyah Square. The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) is hosting the event, which runs until July 24.
In addition to working as a marketing tool for agricultural products, the Summer Fruit Season educates farmers about the value of sustainable farming methods that enhance both production abundance and product quality.
AlUla is recognised for yielding the best dates, figs, grapes, mangoes, and Arabic frankincense, an ancient shrub prized for its therapeutic and cosmetic properties.
The Al-Manshiyah Square farmers' market opened to a growing number of foreign visitors on its first day, who came to take part in its activities and buy from its assortment of products and exhibitions.
