TAQEEM launched a vehicle damage estimation service for personal purposes

The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM) has introduced a car damage estimating service for personal purposes. Through this service, people or businesses can seek a report on any vehicle damage that is not the consequence of criminal or traffic incidents. The report is solely intended for personal use and will only pertain to the organisation or individual who owns the car.

The authority's Taqdeer program, a computerised platform for assessing minor car damages, will make this service available. Taqdeer centres, which are present in 40 cities around the Kingdom, will offer the new service.

According to Taqdeer, the new service was introduced in response to a rise in demand for the non-traffic accident-related damage assessment service. Taqdeer centres will provide reports as part of the new service.

The report will include an explanation of any abuse or negligence-related damage to the car, including dings and interior damage, as well as an estimate of the cost of fixing the damage and the cost of replacement parts. The report is based on the professional criteria that have been established for analysing vehicle damage. For the purposes of insurance or court financial claims, where the losses must be connected to automobile or criminal accidents, this report will not be accepted.

Users may easily utilise the service at Taqdeer centres located around the Kingdo, by visiting the Taqdeer website TAQDEER.SA.
