NewsWith a rate of 91.29%, the Tawakkalna app—which is connected to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA)—topped the government platforms in Saudi Arabia's Digital Experience Maturity Index for 2024. This is one of 39 digital platforms that were assessed using four primary viewpoints, each with twenty axes of evaluation: gauging beneficiary satisfaction by having over 175,000 beneficiaries participate in assessing how satisfied they were with their digital experience, handling their grievances, and assessing the digital tools and technologies that support these platforms.
The Tawakkalna application complies with the requirements of the Saudi leadership to improve digital transformation and leverage cutting-edge technologies. Over 1.2 billion messages have been sent through the app, and it has received over 170 partner endorsements in the Tawakkalna application in addition to 10 million card reviews and over 650 million digital wallet reviews.
The United Nations Public Service Award in the category of institutional flexibility and early response is one of the many local and international accomplishments that include this distinction for the Tawakkalna application, the daily companion of users in Saudi Arabia. These accolades reaffirm Saudi Arabia's leadership in technical fields and the effective use of data and artificial intelligence technologies.
One of the most significant technical initiatives of SDAIA is the application, which aims to improve the integration of services across Saudi Arabian government agencies. As a single application, it offers over 315 services to over 32 million Saudi citizens and residents as well as visitors from other countries, particularly Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers. It is accessible in 77 countries and offers its services in seven languages. A variety of enablers and accelerators are included to strengthen the impacted government entities.
Additionally, the program helps government organizations to accomplish their objectives by providing diverse services in a range of everyday living domains, such as health, education, transportation, entertainment, and religion, as well as simple technical connectivity.
