TGA has reiterated the importance of issuing driver cards and vehicle operation cards for Hajj transport companies during the current Hajj seaso

The need of granting driver licences and vehicle operating cards for Hajj transport businesses during the current Hajj season of 1444 AH has been emphasised once again by the Transport General Authority (TGA). The e-transport webpage should be used to get the cards.

The Authority has emphasised that enterprises must follow the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah-approved procedures and acquire permission from the Ministry before bringing pilgrims within the Holy Sites.

Additionally, it has emphasised the need of obtaining all required licences from the appropriate authorities in order to avoid infractions and facing legal repercussions.

The Authority has made it clear that the electronic transport site was created to dispense seasonal driver licences and vehicle operating cards during the prior time.

Furthermore, during the 1444 AH Hajj season, the General Union of Cars specialists have been instructed to oversee adherence to the card requirement for seasonal drivers and cars conveying pilgrims.

The Authority is also carrying out its plans and preparations for tightening oversight of the services offered to pilgrims for transportation and other activities during the Hajj season. This is being done to make sure that the modes of transportation comply with all laws and technical specifications, are safe, and provide tourists and pilgrims with efficient and well-organized transportation.
