Thara Saudi and Athar initiatives were launched at the third Saudi Tourism Forum in Riyadh

At the third Saudi Tourism Forum in Riyadh, Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, General Supervisor of the King Abdulaziz Public Library, introduced the Thara Saudi and Athar initiatives.

The KAPL provides several programs that showcase cultural tourism through Thara Saudi, and Athar is an interactive platform that draws inspiration from "The Encyclopedia of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," one of the first national documentation projects.

This project showcases Saudi Arabia's immense diversity and aims to strengthen the Kingdom's standing as a major cultural tourism destination worldwide.

The KAPL aims to raise cultural awareness and offer educational materials that highlight Saudi national heritage and promote travel to the Kingdom's distinctive cultural sites through its booth at the Saudi Tourism Forum, which took place at the Riyadh Front from January 7–9.
