The Cultural Skills Competition for school students will be held on May 28

On May 28, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, and Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Minister of Education, will host the Cultural Skills Competition for kids.

Together with the other ministry, the two established the national competition.

The competition, which comprises male and female pupils in primary grades four, five, and six as well as those in intermediate and secondary levels, was described by the Ministry of Education as the first of its type in the Kingdom.

The competition's winners in the six categories of literature, cinema, theatre, music, visual arts, and heritage will be recognised during the event's closing ceremony.

During the event, there will also be an exhibition where students may show off the art they submitted for the competition.

The six cultural courses offered as part of the competition are designed to stimulate Saudi schoolchildren's creativity and initiative as well as their participation in the expanding arts and culture scene in the country.

The competition, which also aims to conserve and enhance awareness of Saudi cultural history and encourage students to take up and practise a variety of traditions, will provide assistance for talented male and female students in the arts and culture.
