The General Department of Education in the Asir region of the Kingdom has launched its Summer Scientific Forum

The General Department of Education in the Kingdom's Asir region has inaugurated its Summer Scientific Forum, on Sunday. The event, which will last four weeks, is aimed at students aged 10 to 17, and similar forums will be hosted in Jeddah and Taif. According to the Saudi Press Agency, activities at the Asir Scientific Centre are part of the Ministry of Education's summer programmes. Classes will include topics such as robot design and programming, as well as the Kingdom's space programme.

The event will encourage scientific research and creativity in science and space, as well as the development of students' programming and creative design talents. The forum seeks to improve participants' cognitive skills and talents, equipping pupils with various information via the best use of their summer vacation time.

Taif's director general of education, Fahad Al-Sharif, said the forum will assist to find blossoming talents and encouraged families to encourage their children to join and invest in strengthening the favourable trend towards learning science.
