The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has provided services to 52,000 visitors following the Hajj season

More than 52,000 tourists who arrived to Madinah following the Hajj season were served by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque. According to the General Presidency, over 7.5 million worshippers witnessed the prayer in the Prophet's Mosque from July 16 to July 23, accompanied by all field services, including organising entry to the Holy Rawdah at the Prophet's Mosque, as 496,533 visitors were honoured to greet Prophet Muhammad and his companions, and 123,301 worshippers prayed in the Rawdah during the allotted time.

Other amenities given by the Prophet's Mosque included orientation and spatial assistance, translation services, and wheelchairs for 20,038 senior worshippers and those with impairments in specific areas within the Prophet's Mosque.

In the last seven days, 7,536,737 worshippers performed prayers in the Prophet's Mosque, 41,660 beneficiaries attended jurisprudence and awareness lessons, 102,859 beneficiaries of various nationalities benefited from field outreach services, 9,831 beneficiaries received religious guidance services, and 7,397 visitors received guidance services via the unified number and communication channels.

The exhibition of the architecture of the Prophet's Mosque welcomed 5,753 guests to see the stages of construction and expansion of the two holy mosques, as well as the efforts being made for pilgrims, with 18,050 tourists welcomed inside the Prophet's Mosque Library.

In addition, the General Presidency distributed 72,672 packages of Zamzam water, as well as 55,825 breakfast meals for those fasting inside the Prophet's Mosque, while 159,916 elderly visitors benefited from transportation services by electric vehicles and wheelchairs between the courtyards and the mosque's doors, and 62,728 gifts were distributed to visitors over the last week.

After the Hajj season, over 652,862 pilgrims arrived in Madinah after doing the Hajj, with 494,222 pilgrims departing for their countries by land and air ports after viewing the Prophet's Mosque, and 158,640 pilgrims remaining in Madinah for the time being.
