The Kingdom’s Music Commission has announced the launch of the “Wave” training program in Riyadh

The Kingdom's Music Commission has announced the commencement of the "Wave" training programme in Riyadh, in collaboration with the Anghami platform, to aid in the promotion of the Saudi music industry. The programme aims to generate 100 graduates, each of whom will obtain a diploma allowing full access to Saudi Music Centre and Saudi Music Commission initiatives. The application period began on July 15 and will end on August 30. Workshops begin on August 27 and go through September 28. Graduation is scheduled for October 7.

The Wave programme, with the tagline "This is Your Time," strives to empower the Saudi music community while also helping budding artists.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, aspiring musicians can pick from five music categories: current songs, musical mashups, Saudi songs, vintage Arabic songs, and Fusha Arabic. The programme provides music graduates and aspiring musicians with a series of training and music production sessions led by industry specialists to help them begin their careers.

Ahmed Bugshan (hip-hop), Andy Jabr (remixes and mashups), Salim Assaf (traditional Arabic), and Turki Sharif (Saudi music) are among the industry specialists who will be coaching. All music fans in the Kingdom aged 16 and up are invited to join in the programme at www.mojamusicwave.com.
