NewsThe National Housing Company (NHC) has announced the building of electric stations in a number of its residential projects in Riyadh and Jeddah for a total of 500,000 riyals. This was done in collaboration with the business sector in order to improve the energy infrastructure and provide high-quality, dependable electrical services in the suburbs and towns.
The NHC has approved the building of three large power plants to feed more than 11,700 housing units and ensure the proper operation of the electrical system. This brings to a close NHC's efforts to prepare the infrastructure for its projects, which include water, power, communications, lighting, walkways, road paving, and many more.
Furthermore, in order to provide its beneficiaries with a full residential environment, NHC allocates places for public service facilities that are distinguished by the highest standards of quality of life. It is worth noting that, as the pioneer and facilitator of the real estate development industry, NHC is eager to take over the housing units for its beneficiaries as soon as possible, and is also working to hand over the remaining units as soon as feasible.
This is part of its efforts to meet the aims of the Housing Programme, one of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 programmes aimed at increasing the percentage of Saudi families that own homes to 70% by 2030.
