The Qiddiya Investment Company launched the urban design for the Qiddiya City and Qiddiyas international trade brand

The urban design for Qiddiya City and Qiddiya's worldwide commerce brand was unveiled on Thursday by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman, who also serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC). More than 325,000 new jobs are anticipated to be created in Qiddiya City, generating a nominal GDP of SR135 billion annually.

According to the Crown Prince, Qiddiya City will soon emerge as the world's most popular destination for sports, entertainment, and culture. The Saudi Vision 2030, according to Prince Mohammed bin Salman, attempts to diversify the Kingdom's economy and provide thousands of work possibilities for the aspirational Saudi young, is based on this high-quality investment in the city of Qiddiya.

Decades of study have demonstrated the importance of play for human cognitive development, emotional expression, social skills, creativity, and physical health. These findings form the foundation of the Qiddiya philosophy of play. Research has also demonstrated the benefits that leisure pursuits have on society, including their capacity to reduce social division and foster empathy and social cohesiveness.

The unique destination Qiddiya City, which is situated outside of Riyadh and offers unparalleled entertainment, sports, cultural, and urban living experiences to both locals and visitors, will be Qiddiya's offering. With the granting of contracts worth SR10 billion, Qiddiya metropolis's construction is moving along nicely.
