The Saudi International Crafts Week will take place in June at the Riyadh Front

According to the Heritage Commission, the Riyadh Front will host the Saudi International Crafts Week in June.

The festival will include seminars on traditional handcrafts in addition to more than 200 sections devoted to diverse crafters.

On Twitter, the commission said it will also emphasize artisans’ contribution to fostering community.

Pottery, wood carving, carpentry, blacksmithing, knitting, weaving, leather tanning, beading, boat building, and many more crafts will be on display throughout the week.

The numerous events and seminars are especially welcoming to young people, and they are urged to use them to launch new firms that may boost the economy of the country.

According to the commission, Saudi International Crafts Week will also serve to promote the nation's extensive cultural history.
