The Saudi Railway Company sets a new record for transporting pilgrims to Makkah on the first day of Hajj 2023

According to a corporate release, the Saudi Railway corporate (SAR) has achieved a new record for carrying pilgrims to Makkah on the first day of Hajj 2023. The Haramain High-Speed Railway, as per SAR, made a record on the first day of the Hajj season by conveying over 33,000 Hajj pilgrims to Makkah.

The railway conveyed a total of 33,494 Hajj pilgrims in 129 journeys, according to SAR, with 98% of excursions arriving on time. The Haramain High-Speed Railway is a vital mode of transportation for pilgrims, allowing them to travel from and to the holy city conveniently, safely, and securely.
