The third edition of the National Campaign for Charitable Work (Ehsan) was launched on Monday

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques The third iteration of the National Campaign for Charitable Work (Ehsan) was officially launched on Monday by King Salman, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman by giving a total of SR 70 million. The Crown Prince donated SR 30 million, while the King gave SR 40 million.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, head of the Ehsan Supervisory Committee and president of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), made this announcement. The wise leadership's dedication to fostering the virtues of righteousness, generosity, and giving as well as encouraging both male and female citizens and residents to uphold social responsibility and solidarity, particularly during the month of Ramadan, is reflected in this initiative. Ehsan is committed to developing digital goods and services that further numerous humanitarian causes, according to a statement he released.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi praised the King and the Crown Prince for their kind donations, stating that they show how eager they are to assist humanitarian endeavours across a range of sectors. He also acknowledged the Crown Prince's strong backing and focus on the Ehsan platform, which have had a substantial impact on its capacity to aid those in need and maximise its social impact ever since its inception, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi emphasised that Saudi Arabia leads the world in charity, humanitarian, and relief efforts. "Saudi Arabia also makes investments in cutting-edge technologies to create efficient digital systems, including the Ehsan platform, which has been crucial in providing straightforward, secure, dependable, and highly successful contribution channels. This strategy is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of expanding and growing the non-profit sector and raising its contributions to the advancement of society, he said.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi emphasised Ehsan's commitment to creating digital products and services that support a variety of humanitarian endeavors, allowing donors to make gifts swiftly and effectively while making sure that they reach people in need.
