The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission declared on Monday that the third Madinah Book Fair would be held from July 30 to August 5. Over 300 Arab and international publishing firms and agencies will be present at the event, which is expected to be a cultural extravaganza with more than 200 booths, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The commission's CEO, Mohammed Hasan Alwan, emphasised the importance of the fair while stressing the ongoing assistance that the cultural industry gets. According to him, the occasion highlights Madinah's cultural significance as well as its contribution to the advancement of the creative movement and the Kingdom's rising stature in the publishing sector.
The fair has grown to be an annual event that draws thousands of people from many backgrounds.
The fair will include intellectual and cultural pursuits meant to encourage knowledge generation and foster a culture of reading.
Kids' activities and workshops are available in a separate space, fostering children's creativity via educational and skill-based experiences.
The Madinah Book Fair has announced that the Discover Culture platform, located at https://dc.moc.gov.sa/home/ar/event-tickets/379/almadinah-book-fair-2024/, is now accepting visitor registrations for complimentary entrance tickets.
