The Riyadh Metro has revealed its ticket pricing, which start at SR4 and include First Class options for more upscale travel.
During their validity term, the tickets, which are accessible via the Darb app, cover an infinite number of rides on both the bus and metro networks and accommodate a variety of travel requirements.
There are two classes of pricing:
Standard Class:
- Two-hour pass: SR4
- Three-day pass: SR20
- Seven-day pass: SR40
- Thirty-day pass: SR140
First Class:
- Two-hour pass: SR10
- Three-day pass: SR50
- Seven-day pass: SR100
- Thirty-day pass: SR350
The Darb app, which can be downloaded via mobile app stores, allows passengers to easily choose destinations and buy tickets.
King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, officially opened the Riyadh Metro on November 27. It is expected to revolutionize public transit in the city.
Official project activities are scheduled to start on December 1, 2024.
The 176-kilometer network is made up of six lines and 85 stations, including the four well-known hubs of Western Station, STC, King Abdullah Financial District, and Qasr Al Hokm.
