Trend Micro Incorporated launches the Trend Vision One SOCaas in Saudi Arabia

Leveraging its collaboration with Alibaba Cloud and Saudi Cloud Computing Company (SCCC), Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a pioneer in cybersecurity globally, introduces Trend Vision One SOCaas (Security Operation Centre as a service) and Advanced MXDR in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The organisations' dedication to providing complete, vendor-direct cybersecurity services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is being upheld in this new phase.

Trend Micro and SCCC Alibaba Cloud collaborated in 2022 to develop locally relevant cybersecurity solutions that safeguard Saudi Arabian businesses' digital advancements. Trend Micro wanted to enforce cybersecurity in the monarchy by launching a local datalake for its solutions through this relationship.

It also allowed Trend Micro and its partners to provide cutting edge threat defence solutions from inside the Kingdom's boundaries thanks to the incorporation of a data lake. At Black Hat MEA, the biggest infosec event in the region, in 2023, the Trend Vision One SOCaaS, Advanced MXDR service was unveiled, marking a significant milestone in the partnership between the two organisations.

SOCaaS, Advanced MXDR from Trend Vision One is a cutting-edge cyber defence solution that combines a rich feature set driven by artificial intelligence. It includes careful health check system, root cause investigation using MITRE-based threat hunting, and round-the-clock monitoring of warnings with analyst access. It enables companies all throughout the country to continue operating without interruption, protect against data breaches, and safeguard critical digital assets while they grow.

Trend Micro said in its H1 2023 Midyear cybersecurity report, "Stepping Ahead of Risks," that over 85 billion cyber attacks were neutralised worldwide by its products, with over 54 million threats prevented in Saudi Arabia alone in the first half of the year. These figures are broken down into several categories in the study, such as the 22 million email threats, 5 million URL threats, 14 million malware threats, and more than 190,000 Smart Home Network (SHN) incidents. The report's data emphasises how urgently Saudi Arabian businesses need a strong cybersecurity strategy to safeguard their long-term viability in the face of changing online dangers.

By prioritising vulnerabilities, anticipating threats, gaining insights into potential risks, and using proactive threat information, the Trend Vision One SOCaaS enhances its capabilities even further. With reporting and dashboard tools that guarantee openness and operational excellence, its capabilities are further enhanced.
