The establishment of TROJENA was announced by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, chairman of the NEOM Company Board of Directors, in March of this year. The Crown Prince said that TROJENA would be an important addition to tourism in the region, a unique example of how Saudi Arabia is creating destinations based on its geographical and environmental diversity.
TROJENA will be an iconic world class destination blending natural and developed landscapes. It intends to offer human centric experience to residents and visitors. The mountain tourism will thus be another revenue stream to support the Kingdom’s economic diversification while still preserving its natural resources for future generations.
Outdoor skiing is a unique feature of TROJENA that will provide a unique experience never before witnessed in the region, especially in Gulf countries known for their desert climates.
