World's only Dragon Ball theme park opened in Qiddiya city; an unmatched global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture

NewsThe only Dragon Ball theme park in the world has opened as part of Qiddiya's mission to establish an unrivalled international hub for sports, entertainment, and culture. Families, entertainment seekers, and fans of anime will be able to delve deeply into the Dragon Ball world and enjoy over thirty rides and attractions arranged in seven specially designed zones that are based on the seven Dragon Balls. With this statement, Qiddiya and Toei Animation—the top Japanese animation studio and the original creators of Dragon Ball—have established a long-term strategic alliance.
Situated in Qiddiya City, approximately 40 minutes from Riyadh, this unique anime theme park covers more than 500,000 square metres and recreates the most iconic plots, scenes, and characters from the complete Dragon Ball series. Visitors will be thrown into the epic universe of Dragon Ball, from the original series to Dragon Ball Super, with seven unique zones influenced by the fabled Dragon Balls.
Explore interactive monuments like "Capsule Corporation," "Kame House," and "Beerus' Planet"; indulge in over 30 rides, including five cutting-edge rides that completely change the theme park experience. One of the attractions is a rollercoaster that circles a huge 70-meter Shenron monument, offering a thrilling journey through the Dragon Ball universe.
In addition, guests may make enduring memories with loved ones thanks to the park's themed hotels and unique eating options housed in architectural wonders.
With this partnership, Qiddiya and Toei Animation hope to honour and enhance the heritage of Dragon Ball while providing fans with a rare opportunity to see their beloved anime in person. The managing director of Qiddiya Investment Company, Abdullah Aldawood, expressed delight about the relationship with Toei Animation. He highlighted the theme park as an exciting anime celebration that provides immersive entertainment for all ages and thrilling, family-friendly activities.
