World Tourism Day in Riyadh on Sept. 27-28; The speaker lineup for this year has been revealed

World Tourism Day will take place in Riyadh on September 27 and 28, and the speakers for this year have been announced. The participation of more than 500 officials, leaders, and experts from 120 nations underlines the significance of the day in determining the direction of international travel. The wide variety of speakers demonstrates the industry's dedication to recognising successes and resolving pressing problems.

Speaking at the event will be Saudi Arabia's deputy tourism minister Princess Haifa bint Mohammed Al-Saud, UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili, Saudi Arabia's investment minister Khalid Al Falih, and Saudi Arabia's tourism minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb. Other notable speakers included Spanish State Secretary Rosa Ana Morillo Rodriguez, South African Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille, Croatian Tourism and Sports Minister Nikolina Brnjac, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Ersoy, CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council Julia Simpson, Secretary-General of the Global Tourism Economy Forum Pansy Ho, CEO of Saudia Ibrahim Koshy, CEO of MSC Cruises Pierfrancesco Vago, CEO of Travelport Greg Webb, CEO of Virtuoso Matthew Up

According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, travel is a strong force for development and understanding among people. But this force must be safeguarded and developed in order to fully profit from it.
