World Travel Market 2024; Key projects highlighting Saudi citys rich cultural and historical significance were showcased

NewsAs part of the Saudi delegation at the World Travel Market 2024 in London this week, the Royal Commission for Makkah metropolis and Holy Sites presented important projects that emphasize the rich cultural and historical value of the Saudi metropolis.
The Hira Cultural District, the Revelation Exhibition, the Kiswa Factory of the Holy Kaaba, and the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage were among the major projects highlighted by the RCMC.
Important infrastructure advancements, such Makkah's public transit system, were also discussed in the RCMC pavilion.
With 12 bus lines that serve every area, this system is intended to guarantee smooth, dependable mobility and enhance the standard of living for both locals and pilgrims who are visiting.
Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Saudi minister of tourism and head of the Saudi Tourism Authority, also introduced the Kingdom's involvement with the Saudi Land Pavilion at this year's World Travel Market event, which concluded on Thursday.
Included in the pavilion was the Visit Saudi exhibition, which was run by the Saudi Tourism Authority for the fourth year in a row with assistance from over 70 industry partners, including travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and destinations.
