Yanbu sets new Guinness World Record for the largest flower word displayed at the Flower and Garden Festival 2024

News EventThe largest floral word showcased during the Flower and Garden Festival 2024, now holds a new record set by Yanbu. The festival began recently and runs until March 9. The record-breaking floral arrangement, which was created from 19,464 roses, read "Salman" in honour of Saudi Arabia's King Salman.
The spectacular work of art, titled "Masterpiece," was finished on February 13 by Saudi calligrapher Hani Mehalawi in partnership with Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Cities Services Co. It was sixteen metres in width and six metres in height. Official adjudicators from Guinness World Records oversaw the whole process, scrutinising every aspect of the record attempt from start to finish.
The world's largest lit flower garden, with a total of 250,000 illuminated flowers, and the world's largest flower basket, with 127,224 real white and red petunia flowers, were also on display at this year's Flower and Garden Festival. The biggest recyclable vehicle, a space rocket with a total length of 30,364 metres, was also on display at the biannual event.
