10 athletes will be representing Saudi in the 33rd Summer Olympic Games hosted by Paris

NewsTen competitors will compete in the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, according to a statement released by the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee on Tuesday. The competitors will participate in swimming, taekwondo, show jumping, and athletics.
Taekwondo athlete Dunia Abu Talib, who earned her place during the Asian qualifying rounds in Taian, China, in March, is the first Saudi woman to represent the country in the Olympics.
The riders Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi, Khaled Al-Mobty, Abdullah Al-Sharbatly, and Ramzy Al-Duhami represent Saudi Arabia in show jumping. They qualified for the Olympics by winning the Doha International Show Jumping Championship's Group 7 qualifying the previous year.
Mohamed Tolo, a 23-year-old shot putter, will compete in his first Olympics after setting an Asian record at the Madrid Athletics tournament in June. Hussain Al-Hizam, a pole vaulter who makes his debut appearance at the Olympics and has amassed 1,252 points in the world rankings, will be joining him.
Mashael Al-Ayed, a 17-year-old Saudi female swimmer, will compete in the 200-meter freestyle event, becoming the first Saudi woman in history to participate in Olympic swimming. Athletes and national federations that did not secure qualifying points or set records can use wild card entries.
