Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), opened "AlHisn Big Time Studios" in Riyadh, ushering in a new age of film and television production, marking a significant milestone for the region's entertainment industry.
This cutting-edge complex, west of the city, was unveiled during Riyadh Season and is one of the most expansive and sophisticated manufacturing facilities in the Middle East, setting a new benchmark.
"AlHisn Big Time Studios" was finished in 120 days and has seven studio buildings totaling 10,500 square meters, with a total site area of 300,000 square meters.
The studios, which were created to be a fully integrated production hub, include state-of-the-art production suites, VVIP suites, and advanced editing rooms in addition to specialist facilities for metalworking, carpentry, and costume design.
From pre-production to post-production, all aspects of filmmaking are catered to in one concentrated production town.
The facility is designed to maintain international standards while drastically cutting time and expenses associated with the production process.
