RIYADH: According to the Saudi Press Agency, Riyadh Zoo has introduced a bird show to its diverse offerings for Riyadh Season 2024. The zoo provides a remarkable experience for wildlife lovers, allowing visitors of all ages to gain knowledge about animal life, environmental stewardship, and conservation awareness.
An agricultural area has been improved to offer interactive experiences that encourage awareness of biodiversity and the significance of conserving nature. A key attraction is the Croc Cave, where visitors can safely view crocodiles up close.
At Kangaroo Arena, guests can have a unique experience with Australian marsupials and take memorable photographs. To enhance the educational aspect, the newly developed farm area offers interactive activities that teach visitors about nature and wildlife conservation. The zoo operates daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing ample opportunity for guests to explore its extensive facilities, which cover 161,000 square meters and accommodate over 1,400 animals from various species.
A diverse selection of outlets and mobile food trucks provides an extensive array of food and beverages, along with comfortable family-friendly seating areas. Seniors can gain access to specific zones by presenting their Tawakkalna application at designated entrances. The included areas are Boulevard World, Boulevard Runway, and Wonder Garden, in addition to the standard free-entry locations like Riyadh Zoo, Al-Suwaidi Park, and Souq Al-Awaleen. They will also be able to visit Boulevard City and VIA Riyadh without needing tickets in advance.
