The Riyadh Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition was opened on Tuesday in Riyadh by Prince Faisal bin Ayyaf, the mayor of the Riyadh Region and the chairman of the board of directors of the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Centre (RIPC). Present on the event were a number of ministers and officials from both Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.
As stated in the mayor's inauguration statement, the Saudi Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition seeks to improve cooperation and endeavours to build cities and accomplish sustainable development via sharing experiences with those who have found success.
The summit included talks, seminars, success stories, and the signing of several partnerships and agreements with significant national and international organisations.
The organisation in charge of regional infrastructure projects, the RIPC, is putting on this worldwide event as part of its endeavours. The RIPC seeks to improve the urban environment for sustainable infrastructure, increase project execution in collaboration with important stakeholders, and contribute to cost efficiency.
