NewsBy 2030, the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) hopes to see a robust coastline tourist industry in the Red Sea that would add SR85 billion to the country's GDP. This would draw 19 million visitors and create over 210,000 employments, accounting for 30% of the Kingdom's leisure tourism and 40% of all entertainment spending.
The Ministry of Investment and SRSA collaborated to create a study titled "Invest in Coastal Tourism," which disclosed this information. The research emphasises how vital seaside tourism is to achieving Saudi Vision 2030's objectives.
The industry's contributions to employment creation, new revenue generation, investment attraction, and economic diversification are detailed in the paper. It underlines once more how crucial it is to save the marine ecosystem in order to maintain its sustainability for coming generations.
