NewsThe 10th of Shawwal has been designated as the deadline for domestic pilgrims to make the third and final payment on their Hajj reservation by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The final payment is 40% of the fees for the packages whose approval was given during this Hajj season. The status of the reservation will be verified once all installments have been paid in full and on time, according to the Ministry. It said that if the payments are not paid for, the reservation would be cancelled.
It is interesting that the Ministry gave customers the choice of paying the Hajj package's charges in instalments. As the pilgrims were required to pay the down payment within 72 hours of the registration date, the Ministry set a 20% threshold for the initial installments. 40% was the second installment, and 40% will also be the final installment. The Ministry previously stated that residents and citizens over the age of 12 who have completed the Hajj within the last five years are eligible to participate in the rituals this year, provided their identification is valid at least through the end of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
Additionally, pilgrims must be in good health and free from contagious and acute chronic illnesses. According to the Ministry, the official licences will begin to be issued on May 5, which is the 15th of Shawwal.
