NewsProphet's Mosque in Madinah is a masterpiece of contemporary engineering combined with traditional Islamic design, built in response to King Fahd's demand for enlargement. This project unveiled 27 amazing domes that enthral spectators with their seamless blend of cutting-edge technology and exquisite design. The astonishing 80 tonnes of each dome are held up by square bases that are 18 metres wide. They are moved by a vast network of iron tracks that spans 1,573 metres, and they can be made to glide open and closed at prearranged periods.
The interiors of the domes are similarly stunning, with geometric designs and vivid blue accents organised and carved in an elaborate manner out of cedar wood. The outside of the domes is a work of art; tiny 60-millimeter-diameter hexagonal ceramic tiles are used to create an exquisite geometric mosaic in shades of light beige and blue.
This technological marvel is more than simply beautiful to look at; it controls temperature within the mosque by automatically opening and shutting the domes, providing worshippers with comfortable surroundings all year round.
