NewsWhen Saudi citizens leave the Kingdom's airports, a new stamp bearing the design "Saudi Arabia Towards Space" will be placed on their passports. The seal was introduced by the Saudi Space Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat). At King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, the seal will be ready to be stamped on travellers' passports.
The launch of the seal coincides with Saudi astronauts Ali Al-Qarni and Rayyanah Barnawi's historic research expedition to the International Space Station. To further Saudi Arabia's involvement in the global space community and its contributions to ISS operations, the Saudi Space Commission has launched the "Saudi Arabia Towards Space" campaign as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 ambitions.
