Authorities in Saudi Arabia have called on the public to be cautious in the event of thunderstorms

According to the Saudi Press Agency on Friday, authorities in Saudi Arabia have urged the people to exercise caution and be aware of safe zones away from regions that might flood during thunderstorms. The General Directorate of Civil Defence warned people against swimming in unsafe areas where they may encounter difficulties.

Additionally, it gave residents guidelines on how to follow directives published in media and on social networking sites. The majority of the Kingdom's regions might see thunderstorms starting on Saturday and lasting through Wednesday, according to the authorities. The Makkah region will see moderate to heavy showers, hail, and strong winds that stir up dust, according to the report. These storms might even produce torrential downpours. There may be an impact on Makkah, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, and the areas of Asir, Jazan, and Al-Baha.

Rainfall is predicted to be light to moderate in Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Layth, Khulais, Bahrah, Al-Muwayh, Al-Khurmah, Raniyah, Turabah, and the Najran region, and moderate in the Madinah area.
