Hira Cultural District exhibition in Makkah; familiarises the public with different services provided by the Saudi government to pilgrims

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques is participating in Makkah's Hira Cultural District exhibition. It has built a pavilion to showcase the developments and improvements in the services given by the Two Holy Mosques.

Furthermore, the presidency is displaying cutting-edge technology and modern facilities that are intended to improve the pilgrimage experience for pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques. The exhibition seeks to familiarise the public with the many services offered by the Saudi government to pilgrims.

The exhibits at the presidency include items such as the tools used to wash the Kaaba, a documentary depicting the process of knitting the Kaaba's clothing, and a digital corner with an interactive screen displaying essential applications that cater to the needs of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and Grand Mosque visitors.

The Hira Cultural District, located near the Cave of Hira in the Makkah highlands, is overseen by the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and the Holy Sites. This district has significant cultural importance and is a renowned landmark. The initiative helps to improve the religious and cultural experiences of pilgrims and Makkah inhabitants, which is one of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.
