The Humanitarians (Ensaniyoun) program was recently started by the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in preparation for the 2024 Hajj season, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
By making the services offered by the presidency more relatable, the program seeks to enhance pilgrims' experiences. Its main goal is to provide a suitable place of worship for the ill, the aged, and those with disabilities who come to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.
The project promotes personnel specialization and the utilization of adaptable technology and digitalization to accommodate religious requirements, according to Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, who oversees Religious Affairs at both the Prophet's Mosque and the Grand Mosque.
Through the improvement of pilgrims' access to religious and humanitarian services, the Humanitarians program is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
