NewsThe Saudi Press Agency said on Thursday that ten agreements were inked during the International Saudi Coffee Exhibition 2024, which took place from February 14–15 at the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre in Jazan. The agreements prioritised leveraging potential for empowerment, offering investment options, and promoting the culture of Saudi coffee production.
Local and foreign parties attended the event, and professionals and experts in coffee farming shared their ideas about the goods and the sector. Stakeholders, professionals, and investors were able to communicate with one another through the event. As the market for coffee from both domestic and foreign sources grows, the event's productive conversation focused on the difficulties encountered by investors and growers.
The creation of new coffee strains to close market gaps in the global coffee trade was one strategy put out at the event to advance Saudi coffee's future.
Coffee producers make up a sizeable share of the recipients of the Kingdom's Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Programme, which has given more than SR155 million ($41.3 million) to 7,256 individuals in a variety of agricultural businesses.
