NewsThe Mawhiba Classes programme is now accepting applications from public and private schools, according to a statement from the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity. Up to October 17th, the registration period will be open. From the fourth grade of elementary school through the third year of secondary education, the program's goal is to establish a stimulating learning environment that is especially created for extraordinarily gifted kids.
In addition to the excellent curriculum certified by the Ministry of Education, it provides cutting-edge, internationally recognised curricula. Through collaborations with prestigious institutions, these programmes, directed by highly skilled instructors, seek to develop the abilities and cultivate the talents of extraordinary pupils. They provide exciting activities, cutting-edge curriculum, and programmes for instructors' professional growth.
According to Mawhiba's head of partnerships with schools, Issa Al-Fifi, agreements are only made with institutions that fit certain requirements. These standards cover things like academic success, management, ethos, classroom management, character development, parent engagement, and well-equipped facilities. Through numerous partnership models, such as government, supporting, categorization, and partnership models, this joint effort enables public and private schools to actively participate to this endeavour and improve chances for fostering talented individuals.
In addition to training programmes, educational consultations, and supplemental curriculum created in conjunction with famous local and worldwide educational experts, partner schools chosen to take part in the Mawhiba Classes programme get a full range of services. These schools also have access to a small selection of gifted pupils, which improves academic achievement overall and promotes teacher development.
According to Al-Fifi, the selection of participating schools complies with international standards and is evaluated using a number of different procedures and phases. This stringent procedure is carried out by qualified local professionals skilled in using Mawhiba's methodologies and criteria for school assessment.
Reach of the programme has increased; today, 152 schools from 13 different cities in the Kingdom are involved, a 12 percent increase over the previous year. There are now 8,600 students registered in Mawhiba Casses.
