Ramadan is one of the busiest times of the year, and Saudi authorities have been regulating the rush of pilgrims to the sacred mosques.
On Sunday, more than a million people visited the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
According to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, there were 4,000 employees present at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and 70 field teams were continuously cleaning the mosque.
The Grand Mosque in Makkah has started a new project to enhance the pilgrimage experience for elderly and handicapped visitors. The endeavor is a component of the "It is an Honour to Serve Our Pilgrims" campaign, which aims to provide worshippers with the finest possible service from the time of their arrival until the time of their departure.
