Minimum age limit for an unmarried Saudi individual to obtain a domestic worker visa is 24 years as per Musaned platform

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD)'s Musaned platform has revealed that, according to recruiting laws, a Saudi man or woman who is single and wants to apply for a domestic worker visa must be at least 24 years old. According to the regulations governing the issuance of visas for the purpose of hiring domestic workers and their equivalents, the following individuals fall under this category: citizens of Saudi Arabia, citizens of the states that make up the Gulf Cooperation Council, members of displaced tribes, the spouse or mother of a citizen, and holders of premium residency, which allows them to issue visas for domestic workers based on their ability to pay.

Financial capacity regulations state that if a visa is issued for the first time, the salary alone must be specified, and the bank document's balance must equal SR40,00000 for the visa to be issued. If a second visa is issued, the minimum salary is SR7000, and the bank document's balance must equal SR60000. A third visa may only be issued with a minimum salary of SR25,000 and a bank account balance of SR200,000.
