NewsA comprehensive framework for incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into digital education across the Kingdom was recently unveiled by the National eLearning Centre (NeLC). The goal of this framework is to create a collection of standards, best practices, and recommendations for integrating AI into general, higher, vocational, and lifelong learning sectors of education.
This programme, which aims to promote innovation and improve digital education, is in line with the Kingdom's increasing emphasis on using AI to develop a number of industries, most notably digital education.
To optimise the advantages of AI in digital education and training, the framework will serve as a comprehensive resource for practitioners in education and decision-makers. It will support innovation in digital teaching methods and serve as a roadmap for the creation, administration, and assessment of AI applications in this area.
Leadership, curriculum design and content development, teaching and learning methodologies, performance monitoring and evaluation, ethical considerations and responsible use, adherence to technology standards, data privacy and security, student support systems, and professional development opportunities are the nine main dimensions that make up the framework. Additionally, it highlights how crucial it is to continuously review and improve as a core component of the framework.
