Regulations for the dress code of medical staff under the ministry in their workplaces has been revealed

The Ministry of Health made public the guidelines governing the appropriate attire for its medical staff members at work.

The ministry's regulations required that the employee maintain a respectable appearance, dress appropriately, and adhere to public etiquette. They also prohibited the employee from sporting odd hairstyles, pyjamas, men's shorts, or inappropriate clothing with offensive symbols or images. They must to be mindful of their personal hygiene as well.

The laws further emphasised that women should wear an opaque head covering, refrain from wearing clothing that is too tight, open, or short, avoid wearing chains or slogans, and avoid wearing too much makeup, manicure, nail polish, or perfume. Wide, long coats that reach the knee were also recommended.

The ministry issued an order stating that employees must wear modest, non-transparent attire during work hours and that it is forbidden to wear work uniforms in public during breaks and after hours.
