Saudi Arabia and China have signed MoU to boost air traffic and develop cooperative frameworks in transportation and air freight

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed by China and Saudi Arabia to increase air travel and create cooperation frameworks for air freight and transportation. Signed by Song Zhiyong, Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and Abdulaziz Al-Dauilej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), the agreement aims to promote air travel between the two countries and enhance air transportation networks.

This Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed during the Saudi civil aviation authorities' visit to China, is a testament to the two nations' continued collaboration in the field of air transportation. In order to improve global connectivity, it also contains a preliminary agreement to revise the current air transportation agreement between China and Saudi Arabia. This programme aims to encourage commerce and economic growth between the two countries, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Aviation Strategy.
