On Sunday, the inaugural Environmental Compliance Forum 2024 will be launched in Saudi Arabia. State news agency SPA said on Saturday that local, regional, and international environmental experts and decision-makers will be present at the Riyadh event, which is being arranged by the National Centre for Environmental Compliance.
During the two days of the conference, the government, business, and nonprofit sectors will work together to create a comprehensive strategy for the growth of the environmental sector. More than 40 international and regional leaders from ten countries will talk about issues pertaining to emerging trends in the sustainable environment sector, according to the center's spokesman, Saad Al-Matrafi.
In keeping with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the forum sessions will cover the difficulties in promoting economic growth and diversification as well as coordinating efforts to accomplish a fundamental transformation of the national economy while safeguarding and maintaining the Kingdom's natural resources and habitats.
The forum will also cover other subjects, such as how to pave the path for a better future, policy and governance, environmental technology and innovation, sustainable development and quality of life, involvement from the private sector, community involvement, and youth and the environment. A number of specialised environmental groups will be present at the Sustainability Cafe, which will encourage young people to talk about their responsibilities and goals in relation to the environment.
NEOM, Red Sea Global, the New Square Development Company, the Saudi Mining Company, and numerous more senior executives from national environmental centres will be among the attendees.
