Saudi Arabias new airline, Riyadh Air, plans to operate commercially by the end of the first half of 2025

NewsAccording to Peter Bellew, the airline's chief operational officer, Riyadh Air, the new airline from Saudi Arabia, intends to begin commercial operations by the end of the first half of 2025. On Tuesday, when attending the Singapore Airshow, he revealed this.
The airline, which is controlled by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), said last November that it had completed the agreement for narrow-body aircraft and planned to announce the order shortly, but no precise date has been provided.
The second flag airline of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Air, will have its headquarters in Riyadh.
The airline will operate regular domestic and international flights to approximately 100 cities in the Middle East and six continents worldwide, with its primary hub located at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The newest national airline of the kingdom, Riyadh Air, was publicly declared to be founded in March 2023 by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Along with options for 33 further aircraft, the airline has placed 39 Boeing 787-9 orders.
