07 Feb 2025
NewsA new visa regulation implemented by Saudi Arabia limits visitors from 14 countries to single-entry visas. With effect from February 1, 2025, the ruling attempts to limit the number of unapproved Hajj pilgrims who come on long-term visit visas.
Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen are among the nations impacted. The decision permanently suspends the one-year multiple-entry visa for family, business, and tourism travel.
The new regulations limit the number of single-entry visa applications from travelers from these 14 countries. These visas will have a 30-day validity with a maximum stay of 30 days. The administration has made it clear that diplomatic, residence, Hajj, and Umrah visas are unaffected by this regulation.
