Saudi Arabia showcased its dedication to environmental sustainability, regional diplomacy, and humanitarian concerns

During a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday in Jeddah, which was presided over by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Kingdom demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian issues, environmental sustainability, and regional diplomacy.

The Crown Prince gave a briefing at the start of the meeting on his recent conversations with world leaders, such as the US Secretary of State, the German President, and the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, highlighting the Kingdom's active participation in international affairs.

The Cabinet covered a broad range of subjects, including domestic matters, foreign and regional developments, and the Kingdom's progress toward accomplishing its objectives.

The Cabinet expressed gratitude for the UN Security Council's request for an immediate truce during the holy month of Ramadan, and special attention was given to the joint efforts to solve the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.

Salman Al-Dossary, the minister of media, emphasized the session's discussions on performance indicators across important sectors and their contributions to the prosperity and advancement of the country. Under the "Jood Eskan" agenda, the Cabinet's support for housing programs for low-income families served as a testament to its dedication to societal welfare. One such initiative was the "Jood Regions" campaign.

The Saudi Green Initiative's annual day, which was observed on Wednesday, March 27, served as a focal point of the meeting and demonstrated the Kingdom's dedication to taking the lead in environmental stewardship and climate change on a local and international level. This program demonstrates Saudi Arabia's aspirational objectives to lower carbon emissions and improve environmental sustainability.

With the intention of streamlining and promoting economic growth and diversification, the Cabinet adopted new laws for processing requests from public organizations regarding the registration of enterprises or investment entities.

Furthermore, by continuing to pay for seasonal laborers' entry visas, the state confirmed its support for the Hadi and Adahi Project for the forthcoming Hajj season.
