Saudi Arabia has revealed four primary packages for pilgrims traveling domestically. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched registration earlier this month for Saudi citizens and overseas Muslims who want to participate in the Hajj which are scheduled for June.
In order to offer a first-rate service with shared lodging, the ministry has identified the Hajj packages.
The first package is connected to camps in Mina, a valley about six kilometers east of the holy city of Mecca. This package's starting price, excluding transportation costs, is SR10,366.
The second option offers shared accommodations in hospitality camps. Prices start at SR8,092 (not including shipping).
The third, which is distinguished by its proximity to the multi-story Jamarat Bridge, where the Hajj symbolic stone-throwing rite is conducted, houses pilgrims in six towers. This package starts at SR13,150, which does not include the cost of transportation.
Accommodations at the Kadana Al Wadi Towers, furnished with modern amenities and individualized services, are offered by the fourth package.
Meals and shared lodging choices are included with this package. Prices start at SR12,537 (not including shipping).
According to the ministry, domestic pilgrims who have never attended the Hajj before are given preference when registering, with the exception of those who are escorting an eligible pilgrim.
The national card or residency permit must also be valid until the tenth day of the Islamic lunar month of Dhul Hijjah, which is the day after the Hajj climax.
Since providing inaccurate information renders the application invalid, the registration must be based on exact and complete data.
The pilgrim must be healthy and free of acute, communicable, or chronic illnesses, the ministry emphasized. The pilgrim needs to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza and meningitis.
