 Saudi cities of Riyadh and Jeddah have improved their position on the Global Liveability Index

The positions of Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia have risen on the Economist's Global Liveability Index. The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) of the Economist Group evaluated 140 cities throughout the world for their liveability based on an evaluation of variables including stability, culture and environment, education, health care, and infrastructure.

According to the ranking, Jeddah moved up four spots to 107th place and Riyadh rose three spots to 103rd place from 2022. The Kingdom's Quality of Life Programme aims to place three Saudi cities among the top 100 liveable cities in the world by 2030 to fulfill the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

This will be accomplished throbysing the standard of living for locals, visitors, and tourists while also providing them with additional opportunities to increase their engagement in leisure, sporting, and cultural activities.
