Saudi General Entertainment Authority celebrated the first batch of graduates from its intensive scholarship initiative, the Entertainment Fellowship Program

NewsThe first group of graduates from the Saudi General Entertainment Authority's intense scholarship programme, the Entertainment Fellowship Programme, a component of the GEA's Happiness Creators Initiative, which is a component of the Quality-of-Life Programme, has been honoured.
In three courses, which combined academic instruction with immediate practical applications in conjunction with local and worldwide experts in the entertainment sector, 56 men and women received degrees.
The GEA chairman, Turki Al-Asheikh, recorded a welcome speech in which he declared that the Happiness Creators Initiative had so far benefited 45,000 people through its diploma programmes in the entertainment industry, as well as its Scholarship Programme, Entertainment Leaders Programme, Creative Journey Around the Kingdom Programme, and Entertainment Fellowship Programme.
The ceremony culminated in the recipients of the scholarships receiving their certificates from the programme, which was run in collaboration with the University of Central Florida in the US and the UK-based Event Academy. The ceremony also featured the screening of a video detailing the history of the programme thus far, in addition to the full details of the scholarship recipients' accomplishments.
The program's external scholarship component qualifies trainees in three tracks: electronic entertainment, which focuses on gaming-related events, entertainment destinations, which deals with managing and operating entertainment sites; entertainment events, which deals with planning festivals, concerts, and theatrical productions.
The graduates will now be able to use their new abilities to support the Kingdom's entertainment sector in achieving a number of its objectives.
