NewsAccording to the Saudi Ports Authority, with the help of cutting-edge machinery and sophisticated operational systems operated by youthful Saudi men and women with experience in greeting pilgrims, the organization is prepared to offer this year's pilgrims a memorable experience.
According to the administration, during the Hajj season, ports would not only receive pilgrims but will also offer them strategic and logistical services, such as timely delivery of supplies and medications.
Additionally, through the authority-organized Huda and Adahi Route programs, ships will carry cattle as sacrificial goods, clearing them, guaranteeing their safety, and easing their transfer from the port to the holy locations.
The Islamic Port of Jeddah serves as both the entrance to the Two Holy Mosques and a major hub for trade and logistics along the coast. It covers 12.5 square kilometers and has fitted container ports where other goods like chilled and frozen food products are transported.
