NewsSaudi Public Prosecution has created a translation gadget for translating the investigation's progress throughout the Hajj season,. A machine learning-enhanced Turjman apparatus, it is capable of translating investigative processes—such as testimony, hearing remarks, and questioning sessions—in real time. This gadget, unveiled in March of this year by Attorney General Saud Al-Muajab, can translate text into over 140 foreign languages and dialects instantaneously. It also has the ability to rapidly convert voice to written form.
The device that was developed came with twelve artificial intelligence models. These models included specialised translation, which relies on comprehending the linguistic context, accurately analysing texts, recognising languages and dialects, and providing accurate linguistic translation through complex linguistic models, particularly for legal terms. Additionally, the device included an audio recognition feature that records speech, transforms spoken words into written texts, and provides other forms of assistance to the investigator that improve the effectiveness and calibre of prosecution records and decisions.
Turjman helps expedite the criminal investigations that Public Prosecution personnel conduct. Redrawing and re-engineering the methods is one of the technological projects. Additionally, it operates with exceptional accuracy and efficiency, strengthening the legal protections for all parties involved in the cases—victims, defendants, witnesses, and attorneys—and enabling their statements to be legitimately validated in the languages in which they speak. This helps to uphold rights and accomplish full justice for all parties involved.
